Winter Dress

Who says skirts and dresses are reserved for warm weather? Not me! With proper layering, skirts and dresses can be worn all year round!

My look incorporates this super soft off the shoulder sweater from Express! Since I am very short, it fits more like a dress even though it is meant to be a shirt. I put a black tight skirt on underneath just to be careful. Since the sweater is such a statement with the bubble sleeves and big neckline, I did not feel the need to add jewelry to make the focus on the outfit. I paired the dress with my favorite pointed toe, over the knee boots to finish the look!

For this next look, I paired a basic black top and a knit skirt. To dress it up, I layered over a long black coat. I love this coat because it has a detachable pink fur collar that I decided to remove for this outfit. I love the fit and flare shape as well, it just adds so much to a simple outfit! The best part about this coat is it is currently on sale, so grab it while you can!

To finish the outfit, I put on the same pointed toe over the knee boots from the look above and a cozy scarf! With proper layering, skirts and dresses can certainly be worn the winter..... even with snow on the ground!
